This year’s 8th edition of CientífKs en joc, organised by the ‘Department of Research and Universities of the Generalitat of Catalonia- Generalitat de Catalunya’, has come to an end. On Thursday 29th of May in an emotional day, all schools presented the videogame proposals that created together with a paired female scientist working on the theme of ‘sustainable food’.
Scientific work and creativity were celebrated, and last year’s winner was presented.
The 5th year of primary school of Tres Fonts de les Corts, Barcelona, has been working with GIAP’s senior researcher Dr Alexandra Livarda and the Masters student Marina Daniel, both of which are specialised in archaeobotany, to create their own version of videogame on the theme.
This collaborative work won the mention of the BEST STORY and made the whole team – children, professors and scientists – very happy! The celebrations lasted long and plans for future collaborations of the team already started to be discussed! It has been an amazing process, enriching and satisfactory to all!
Well done Tres Fonts!!!
