Lídia Colominas participated last week in the 31st National and 21st Ibero-American Congress on the History of Veterinary Medicine “De la Tàrraco romana d’August a la Reus modernista de Gaudí” (Histovet2026 Congreso Tarragona), that took place in the Cambra de la Propietat Urbana de Tarragona (Tarragona, Catalonia), from the 22nd to the 24th of October.
She opened the conference with the keynote lecture entitled: “Explotación animal en la Hispania Tarraconensis: algunos ejemplos y reflexiones”.
The conference, organized by the Col·legi Oficial de Veterinaris de Tarragona, the Associació Catalana d’Història de la Veterinària and the Asociación Española de Historia de la Veterinaria, provided an excellent multidisciplinary forum to share results, concerns and ideas about animal exploitation, care and illness in the past.
