Farewell Rosa and Mar!

After a few months in GIAP (ICAC), Mar and Rosa will say farewell to the archaeozoology team this July. Supervised by Lídia Colominas, she introduced them to the laboratory practices and methodologies in archaeozoology.

Mar Jornet is a master’s degree student at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), focusing on Ancient Mediterranean. She joined us in the context of her Master’s laboratory practices, which she chose to dedicate to archaeozoology. We hope she enjoyed her stay, and that it provided a strong foundation to embark in her future endeavours. Good luck with the Master’s, Mar!

Rosa Soler is a biologist from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She completed her inter-university master’s degree (UB-UAB) in Biological Anthropology in 2020, specialising in Physical and Forensic Anthropology. Hopefully, she’ll be back soon, as she aims at pursuing a PhD in archaeozoology. Best of luck, Rosa!
